Nonprofits

Workforce software that fits a nonprofit budget.

Schedule paid staff and volunteers on the same platform. Track grant-eligible hours separately from W-2 staff time. Audit-ready reports for your board. One simple plan, everything included — and your first month is free.

What every nonprofit operator is tired of

Grant reporting takes a week. Cobbling hours together from a paper sign-in sheet and a spreadsheet.
Volunteers and staff are tracked separately. Even though they share the same shifts.
Board meetings ask for numbers nobody has. Hours by program, by month, by demographic.
Onboarding paid staff takes forever. W-4, I-9, direct deposit, consent forms — all paper, all chased by email.
You're paying $80/mo for HR software built for 500-person companies.
Texas labor law (or your state) isn't baked in. Overtime rules, breaks, blackouts — you track them manually.

Built for nonprofit operations

Affordable, audit-ready, and respectful of how nonprofit teams actually mix paid and volunteer labor.

🤝

One simple, all-inclusive plan

No tiers and no locked features: $1 per active person/mo + $10 per location/mo, every feature and all AI included. Your first month is free.

📊

Grant-eligible hours reporting

Tag programs/grants per shift or position. Pull hours-by-program reports for grant applications and quarterly board packets.

👥

Paid + volunteer in one platform

W-2 employees fill out W-4/I-9/direct deposit. Volunteers skip those and sign only the policies you require.

📝

Custom consent forms

Upload your code of conduct, photo release, mandated-reporter acknowledgment, whatever. Track per-person signature status with timestamp + IP.

📜

Audit trail on sensitive actions

Termination, schedule publish, password reset — all in `audit_log` with actor, action, target, timestamp. Defensible if a grant audit hits.

📤

QuickBooks / Gusto / ADP exports

Pay-period CSVs ready for upload. Most nonprofits use one of these for payroll; we plug in cleanly.

Nonprofit operator FAQ

The questions we get from nonprofit executive directors.

How much does it cost for a nonprofit?
There's one plan for everyone — no tiers, no locked features. Your first month is free (up to 10 people + 1 location, no card). After that it's $1 per active person/mo + $10 per location/mo, with every feature and all AI included. You only pay for active people and the locations you run.
Can you track hours by program for grant reporting?
Yes. Tag shifts with a position (e.g. "Outreach", "Case Management", "Admin"). Run "Hours by Position" reports for any date range. Export to CSV/PDF for grant submissions and board packets.
What's the difference between an employee and a volunteer in PeopleBridge?
Employees get the full W-4/I-9/direct-deposit onboarding flow, hourly rate, OT calculation, and payroll exports. Volunteers skip the federal forms and the pay rate, but still sign your consent forms, track hours, and appear on the schedule. Same platform, two flows.
Is it secure enough for grant audits?
Yes. Row-level security on every table (tenant isolation enforced at the DB). Encryption at rest. Audit log on sensitive actions. Masked SSN/bank details. We are not yet SOC 2-certified but the architecture is built for it.
Do you have a Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud connector?
Not today. NPSP integration is on the long-term roadmap. Currently nonprofits use PeopleBridge for the workforce side (schedule, time clock, hours) and keep donor data in NPSP separately.
Can I run reports for the annual board meeting?
Yes. Insights → "Labor by Role" + "Hours by Period" gives you the standard board-packet view. CSV export of any report. We are also building a "Quarterly Board Report" template for Q3 2026.
