Does PeopleBridge integrate with Toast?
Yes — Toast is the deepest integration we offer. Real-time sales, tips, tax, applied discounts, server-level reporting, weekly tip pool with pro-rata distribution, and CPA-ready monthly tax exports. We currently process ~19,000 orders per year across our active locations. Square, Clover, and Stripe Billing are also live. QuickBooks Online, Gusto, and Paychex Flex are on the integrations roadmap.
How does the tip pool calculator work?
Per-location, per-pay-period pool. Tips ingested directly from Toast for the period are distributed pro-rata by hours worked from the time clock. Owner gets a configurable "phantom" tip share for back-office hours. Lock & Pay snapshots freeze the math; you export a payroll-friendly CSV. The pool reconciles to the penny.
Can servers swap shifts on their phone?
Yes. Servers request a trade or post the shift as "open" from the mobile app. Open shifts go to the eligible employees you choose; the first qualifying responder claims it (or the manager approves). Push notification at every stage so you don't live in group texts.
Does it handle multi-location operators?
Yes. Managers can be scoped to specific locations. Employees can be assigned to one or many stores. The system auto-routes a clock-in to the closest geofence so multi-location servers don't accidentally punch in at the wrong store. Owners see roll-up reporting across all locations.
What does it cost for a 3-location restaurant?
One plan, everything included — every feature plus all AI. It's $1 per active employee/mo + $10 per location/mo. So 3 locations with, say, 30 active employees is $30 + $30 = $60/mo. The Toast integration is entirely optional — only if you want POS data flowing in: $10 per location/mo plus a one-time $299 setup; skip it and you pay nothing extra. Your first month is free (up to 10 employees + 1 location, no card). Compare to Homebase Plus at roughly $100/mo per location for similar features.
Can I import my schedule from 7shifts or Homebase?
Yes — bulk CSV import is included, like every other feature. Export your team and historical hours from any tool, upload, and you're live. We don't auto-migrate schedules themselves (those are usually rebuilt anyway when teams switch), but everyone's name, email, phone, pay rate, and location assignments come over.
