The honest takeaway

Pick PeopleBridge if…

  • You run 2+ locations and 7shifts pricing per location stings
  • You want every AI feature included, not paid as add-ons
  • You're comfortable with a PWA (no App Store needed)
  • You need CPA-ready monthly sales tax reports
  • You want nonprofit pricing on the same product

Pick 7shifts if…

  • You're a single-location restaurant with 11–30 employees on free tier
  • Native iOS / Android app distribution is non-negotiable
  • You've invested in 7shifts integrations (Restaurant365, MarketMan, etc.) we don't have
  • You need their specific tip distribution variants we haven't built

Common questions

Is 7shifts really $70+/mo per location?
7shifts Entrée plan is $30/mo per location, but most restaurants end up on The Works ($70+/mo per location) for GPS, tip pooling, and integrations. At 3 locations that's $210/mo minimum. PeopleBridge is one simple plan — $1 per active employee/mo + $10 per location/mo with every feature included — so 3 locations at 30 employees is $60/mo total.
What does 7shifts do better today?
Two real things: (1) Native iOS and Android apps in the App Store, which we don't have — we're a PWA. (2) More tip distribution variants (percentage-of-sales, points-based, etc.) where we currently support pro-rata by hours only. If those matter more than the price gap, 7shifts is the right call.
How hard is it to migrate from 7shifts?
Export your team from 7shifts as CSV. Upload to PeopleBridge via Settings → People → Import. Names, emails, phones, pay rates, and location assignments come over. Schedules themselves are usually rebuilt — most teams find that's a fresh-start opportunity anyway.
Does PeopleBridge integrate with Restaurant365 or MarketMan?
Not today. 7shifts has a deeper integration partner ecosystem in restaurant-specific tools. If your stack already depends on R365 or MarketMan integrations with 7shifts, factor that into the switching cost.
Can I trial both side-by-side?
Yes. Run a week of schedules in each. PeopleBridge is free for your first month (up to 10 employees and 1 location, no card), which is enough to evaluate the UX.

Trial both. See for yourself.
