Pet care scheduling built around groomers, kennel staff, and vet techs.

Groomers booked solid, kennel staff covering 16-hour weekend coverage, vet techs juggling triage and rooms. Generic SMB tools force you to fight your own staffing. Built for indie groomers, doggy daycares, and small clinics — including the 1099 contractor groomer case.

What every pet care operator is tired of

Groomers double-book. One on the calendar, one in the appointment book, one in the head.
Boarding coverage gaps appear at 5am. The morning shift no-shows and you find out when the first owner arrives.
Vaccinations expire silently. Bordetella runs out for a kennel staffer; you find out at inspection.
1099 groomers mix with W-2 staff. Year-end paperwork is a nightmare.
Weekend on-call rotations are a spreadsheet. Then someone "didn't see the text" and an animal needs after-hours care.
Multi-shop owners juggle two systems. Front desk on one tool, back-of-house on another. Reports never align.

Built around how pet care actually staffs

The features that matter for grooming, boarding, daycare, and small clinics.

🐕

Groomer / kennel / front-desk role split

Schedule groomers, bathers, kennel staff, front desk, and vet techs as distinct position types. Color-coded so you spot understaffed slots in seconds.

💉

Vaccination + certification tracking

Per-employee fields for Bordetella, rabies, NACE, AKC certs. Email reminders at 90/30/7 days before expiration. Expired credentials block scheduling for that role.

👤

1099 contractor vs W-2 separation

Worker classification is a first-class field. 1099 groomers get a W-9 flow instead of W-4/I-9. Reports split hours separately for year-end filing.

📍

Multi-shop GPS clock-in

Staff who cover multiple locations auto-route to the closest shop's geofence. Manager override always available. Photo capture at punch for tamper-proof audits.

🚨

On-call rotation tracking

Mark a shift as "on-call" with a separate pay rate. SMS + push notifications fire if someone's needed. Rotation auto-balances across staff.

📤

Payroll + accounting exports

QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP, Paychex exports with W-2 hours separated from 1099 hours. Per-shop labor cost reports for owners running multiple locations.

Pet care operator FAQ

The questions we get from groomers, boarders, and small clinics.

My groomers are 1099 contractors. Does this work?
Yes — first-class support. Worker classification is per-employee. 1099 contractors go through a W-9 flow instead of W-4/I-9. Reports break out 1099 hours from W-2 hours for year-end filing. Pay rate can be per-hour OR commission-based (commission tracking is on the Q4 2026 roadmap).
Can I track Bordetella + rabies vaccinations?
Yes. Each employee profile has cert/vaccination fields with expiration dates. Email reminders fire 90/30/7 days before expiration. Expired vaccinations can optionally block scheduling for kennel staff (the most common kennel-club requirement).
Does it integrate with my booking system (Gingr, ProPet, etc.)?
Not natively today. Our integrations focus on POS (Toast, Square, Clover) and payroll. Most groomers run their booking system separately and use PeopleBridge for the workforce side: who's on which shift, who clocked in where, who got paid for what.
I have a grooming salon AND a boarding facility. Multi-shop?
Yes. Assign employees to one or many shops. Each shop has its own schedule, positions, and pay rates. Float staff auto-route at clock-in to whichever shop they're closest to. Owner reports roll up across all locations.
On-call rotations for vet emergencies — how does that work?
Mark a shift as "on-call" with a different pay rate. The rotation can be set up as round-robin (auto-balances across eligible staff) or manual. Push notifications + SMS fallback fire when the on-call rotation lands on someone, so "I didn't see the text" stops being an excuse.
How much does it cost?
One plan, everything included — every feature and all AI. Your first month is free for 1 shop and up to 10 employees, no card. After that it's $1 per active employee/mo + $10 per location/mo. A single 8-person shop runs about $18/mo.
